Web Wonder Women

By Lynne Klippel

Femme Osage Publishing

With Web Wonder Women, Lynne Klippel has done a marvelous job putting together a collection of success stories from twenty-six unique and exciting businesswomen, who have learned how to utilize the web to make big money on the internet.

The set-up style of the book creates a pattern of cohesion for the reader to become comfortable, by introducing each businesswoman's chapter with a key phrase, her name and web address, her story, and then helpful hints and suggestions with headings that lead to a section entitled, "Just between you (the reader) and each individual businesswoman's name," followed by a "Make it Real" list of main points to ponder. This allows the reader to go inside themselves for enlightened realizations.

For instance, in Christine Kloser's chapter, her quote summarizes her mantra, "It's all about service. You can have a business that fulfills your heart, as well as your bank account." This leads the author to ask the reader these questions:

1. Do you feel like your business idea is your calling or destiny?
2. What does that mean to you?
3. How can you be authentic in your business, and show up to serve your customers, just as you are today?
4. Do you feel like you have a supportive and nurturing network?
5. If not, how can you create one?
6. Would you be interested in combining your business and your spirituality like Christine did?
7. If so, what steps could you take to begin?
8. If not, how could you let your spirituality support your business quietly?

Another businesswoman, Peggy McColl states, "to be a successful businesswoman, we must work on our inside, as well as our outside." Many times women feel unworthy of success from their past teachings and beliefs. It wouldn't matter if they had the best equipment, business plan, and marketing materials in the world. Now is the time for each person to believe in herself 100%, and be ready and open to "receive" honor, respect and cash. It is healthy to create a balance.

Heather Seitz, a successful real estate investor states, “it is important to use natural people skills to create powerful relationships.” She shared that as long as you know what you are talking about, are not afraid to ask questions respectfully, and are willing to create win-win relationships, any woman can succeed in business. She also continues to be open to learn new skills and techniques, as well as create strong relationships with her customers and partners by doing a thorough job on follow-up after each transaction.

Almost every one of the women interviewed recommended working with a mentor, or a coach to learn the most, and gain the most knowledge and insight about business and themselves. For example, Darlene Willman believes people are eager to help each other if there is a strong giving relationship. She also feels it is important to meet people where they are, and respect their level of expertise. She states, "networking skills are essential in today's marketplace, because people want to do business with people they know and trust." Whenever a person gives, it always comes back to them.

And speaking of giving, the last businesswoman listed in the book is Theresa Wilson, who owns the business Blessing Baskets. Her mission statement is: "We exist to eradicate poverty through prosperity wages." She has connected with women around the world to assist them in bettering their lives by paying them for their work. She has connected with women in Bangladesh, Ghana, Uganda, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. She has successfully attracted angel investors and has recently applied to become a 501 C-3 non-profit organization.

Amazing connections happen all the time when women use their intuition, move forward and take action. When you buy a copy of this book, you will receive wonderful information, and the author is donating 10% of the profits to the Blessing Basket.
